AYA 250 Hour Aerial Yoga Course Curriculum

This course offers one of the most complex studies and student support in the market. We believe in a personalized and holistic approach to education that raises confidence and skillful teachers who will be ready to embrace their teaching journey with confidence and professionalism. Students are trained in small groups with constant supervision from trained and experienced  instructors. After completing the certification, we offer participation in informal support groups and mentorships. Our certification is recognized by Yoga Alliance and each student will receive an international certification which allows them to teach aerial classes all over the world.



 

        Certification includes:


• Online course (theoretical knowledge)


• On-site training (practicum)


• Aerial hammock kit (free for first 5 participants a $299 value)

– 90 Hours of Aerial Yoga Techniques


– 30 Hours of Aerial Yoga Methodology


– 100 Hours of Aerial Yoga Practicum


– 30 Hours of Traditional Principles and Techniques


– Over 180 hours of contact guidance in all areas


– 1 year of access to our database and study materials


Hands on Training

- Hands on training includes a review and steps of all of the poses

- Practice and feedback of all of the poses

- Additional poses as chosen by the Instructor depending on your interests

 

Conditions

: Students are asked to complete the theoretical part prior to on-site training. It is necessary to start theoretical practicum before the first in-person lesson.

Students need to complete a 2-part exam

– one in theory and one in practice in order to receive their certification. After subscribing to the course, refunds are no longer available. Students are allowed to complete the theoretical part of the course from their home studying online, but they need to be present at the practical training.
 

Steps for registration:

2. Complete the payment online of $1,200.

3. Receive your password and login to your online studying area and start studying the theoretical part


4. Complete your course with exams on site training and become an aerial yoga instructor


5. Get your certification
 

         Training onsite (hands on) will be April 18 and 19th.

This will be an intensive weekend of hands on training.

Booking and your first part of study must be completed and started in Feb/March for the April onsite dates.

Recommendation:
This online teacher training is suitable for yoga teachers who have already completed their first teacher training and understand the basic principles of yoga.

About your Trainer

Cher Venhuizen  graduated from the Temple of Kriya Yoga in 2005 and enjoys teaching Hatha, Aerial Yoga, Restorative Aerial and a fusion of all of them. Her passion is with aerial yoga, teaching, mentoring and in assisting others learn their passions and providing inspiration for them to live the life of their true selves.
